GRADUATES OF THE BLS TRAINING WILL BE ABLE TO:

• Give more in-depth CPR, defibrillation, and first aid

• Properly communicate with first responders and/or bystanders

• Use correct body mechanics to perform chest compressions

Whether you are a healthcare provider, are in school to become a nurse or physician, police officer, or firefighter, when you get BLS certified you can show your employer that you have the training you need to improve patient outcomes.

Our program is designed for you with the skills and knowledge to become certified in BLS/AED. You will understand and demonstrate the correct technique while being aware of the importance of CPR, defibrillation, and first aid. This certification will allow you to have more advanced placement in the health field and confidently save a life.

WHERE EDUCATION PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES

The BLS training program will introduce students to the skills and knowledge of properly performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillation. The program will offer a BLS certification that is highly recommended for those who are trying to pursue a career in the health field or work as a first responder. Bystanders who want more in-depth CPR and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) training are eligible for acquiring a Basic Life Support certification as well.

CREDENTIALS AWARDED

Students who successfully complete the 4-hour training course must take the American Heart Association (AHA) examination. The examination consists of two parts. The first part involves the skills check-off list. Students must successfully pass the skills check-off with 100% before they are eligible to sit for the written exam. Students must pass the skills check-off and the written exam before they are awarded the BLS Certification.
